Music Teacher – Allion Elementary 2018-2023

I am totally stoked to be teaching music at Allion Elementary school in LaSalle.

Allion Elementary is a fabulous school in LaSalle with an amazing history of music. We offer singing and percussion for all grades. Grade 3 and Grade 4 students learn the glockenspiel and xylophone (tuned keyboard percussion). Grade 5 and Grade 6 students play the ukulele (string) and various combinations of other instruments.

Coming out of the pandemic has proven to be an immense challenge academically and musically for the little ones. However, it has also proven to be an opportunity to re-examine the role music has to play in the lives of young families and to help everyone, students, teachers and parents to reconnect, rebuild and re-engage.
